The owners of Willy D’s and Deep Lounge have connected a third space to their holdings. Prost (German for “cheers!”), which opens onto Rock Street across from the River Market pavilions, is a sausage bar. That is, it’s a full bar, where there are more than a dozen beers on tap, with an evening menu featuring almost entirely different varieties of sausages. The bar’s pickles, sauerkraut and six links, which range from chorizo to bratwurst to one called chicken Fuji (a mix of chicken, Fuji apple and an assortment of spices), are all handmade by Chef Miles James of James at the Mill in Johnson.

The bar, which is just around the corner from Willy D’s, is open 4 p.m. until 2 a.m. Monday through Friday and 4 p.m. until 1 a.m. on Saturday. Happy hour, daily from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and all night on Monday, features $1.50 longnecks and drafts and $2 well drinks.
