the surprise winner of the Charles B. Pierce Award for Arkansas Film at the Little Rock Film Fest, is coming back to the big screen. It'll show August 5 and 6 at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. at Riverdale, probably for the last times in theaters. The screenings are free, but donations are welcome, particularly as the filmmakers try to find funding for their next film, tentatively titled "Ten Years Gone." It's grander in conception, according to "Slumberland's" Zach Turner.
Turner and co. hope to start shooting in February. In the meantime, they're looking towards Chicago Underground and Indie Memphis as festivals for "Slumberland."
