On Sunday, June 14, the Clinton School and Movies in the Park are collaborating to host “Sunday at the Movies,” a double feature of two documentaries. The first, “US vs. John Lennon”
begins at 2 p.m. and chronicles the late Beatle’s anti-war activism in the late ’60s and ’70s and the government’s attempt to silence him. “We Believe: Chicago and its Cubs”
follows at 5 p.m. and should draw an audience of those banded together by the sadism that is following the Cubs year in and year out, though this new documentary promises to put a hopeful spin on all that angst. The films are free, but like all Clinton School events, you’re encouraged to reserve your seat via firstname.lastname@example.org or 683-5239.
