In case we haven't caught your attention elsewhere, it's the end of the road: Friday is the FINAL ROUND of the ARKANSAS TIMES MUSICIANS SHOWCASE.
Unlike previous weeks, it's at Revolution and it starts at 8 p.m. and it's open to all ages. The line-up features Jonathan Wilkins, the Chicklettes, the See, Nik and Sam and Velvet Kente, $5.

Local DJs Uniq, g-force and Fatality and local rappers 4X4 Crew come together at Downtown Music for “Nocturnal,” 9 p.m., $5.

At Afterthought, blue-eyed crooner Big John Miller leads his band in familiar soul covers, 9 p.m., $7.

Local singer/songwriter Chris Henry is at the Flying Saucer, 9 p.m., $3.

At Sticky Fingerz, Fayetteville's Boom Kinetic, formerly known as Molten Lava, plays '80s covers, 10 p.m., $7.

And local cover band Sharpe Dunaway and the Blue Meanies comes to Vino's, 8 p.m., $2.

 
SATURDAY 3/7

At Revolution, increasingly popular country rockers Randy Rogers Band, from Texas, play to what's sure to be a packed crowd, 9 p.m., $15.

Piano and vocal combo Carl Mouton and Ramona Smith return to the Afterthought, 9 p.m., $7.

Late night, at Discovery, Justin Sane and DJ Ramone hold it down in the disco, while Balance mans the lobby, midnight, $10.
