Been out to see the great Andy Warhol: 15 Weeks of Fame exhibit at the Arkansas Arts Center? Boy, you've missed something quite excellent. Well, if your tastes range between haute cuisine and hawt art, you're in luck.
The Arts Center is hosting Art on Tap: Last Call for Warhol on Friday, January 30th from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Alice Pratt Brown Atrium. As mentioned on AAC's press release, "this trendy event will feature a tasting of imported and craft ales and lagers paired with hors d’oeuvres from the represented brewing regions." Dozens of great brews to choose from, and dozens of great artworks to peruse. How could you go wrong?
It's being hosted by the Contemporaries, a group of Arts Center members between the ages of 21 and 45 who enjoy entertaining programs centered on the arts. Admission is free for Contemporaries, $15 for Arts Center members, and $25 for non-members. For more information, check out the Arts Center website or call (501) 372-4000.
