Steamrolled.

Stuff Middle-Aged White People Like #22: Mannheim Steamroller, giants in the New Age holiday scene. They take seasonal classics like "Joy to the World" (above) and go crazy on them with synthesizers, laser lights and amazing haircuts. I'll be there. With my parents. Can't wait. Robinson Center Music Hall, 7:30, $37-$77.

OR:

Metallica tribute act Battery is at Revolution, 9 p.m., $10.

Rock fiddler Randy Crouch comes to Sticky Fingerz, 9:30 p.m, $5.

Three rock bands with names designed for maximum impact share a bill at Juanita's: Flameing Daeth Fearies, the Devil's Right Hand Band (previously known as Josh the Devil and the Sinners) and the Throbbing Testicles.

Trumpet standout Rodney Block leads his band at the Afterthought, 8 p.m., free.

g-force VJs at Deep, 10 p.m., $5 (ladies free).
