Popular Austin country singer Kevin Fowler returns to Sticky Fingerz, 9 p.m, $10.

The Greener Side is a new local act filled with longtime vets of the scene — Nick Devlin (guitar and vocals), Brian Nahlen (guitar and vocals), Mike Nelson (bass) and Jimmy Powell (drums and vocals). Look for covers ranging from the Beatles to Radiohead as the band headlines at Cajun's, 9 p.m., $5.

Nine local acts battle in the River Market Pavilion to benefit the Janice Lourenco Medical Fund. Featured bands include Go Fast, Just Jill, Demeritrious (say duh-mee-tree-us), the Box Box Philosophy, At Wars End, Around the 6, Reticent, the Glyph and Calling Drake. 8 p.m., donations.

Tonya Leeks, who sings and plays the saxophone and the flute, brings her band to the Afterthought, 9 p.m., $7.

Wildwood hosts a benefit for its musical director, Stratsmir Pavlov, featuring Kristina Marinova-Pavlov, Bryan LaRue, Kiril Laskarov (co-concertmaster of the ASO), Tawanna Campbell and more, 8 p.m., $25.

Local band Hat Trick makes its debut at Cornerstone, 9 p.m, $5.

Old-time folk rockers the Damn Bullets headline at White Water with the Flip Off Pirates, 9 p.m., $5.
