John Beechboard, co-owner of Za-Za Fine Salad and Wood-Oven Pizza Company, says the restaurant will open, “come hell or high water” on Monday, May 5, in the Height's Theater.
Beechboard is talking a big game about their gelato and sobretto. Lots of experimentation.
UPDATE: Chalk it up to hell and high water and irrational exuberance. Saturday, May 3, we heard that the opening will be at least a week later, though some shakedown work is underway and a private party was held on premises Friday night.
