"Not even a disturbingly twisted leg will stop me from future rafter hanging."
Ark. Times contributor Tim Jones took his son to see After the Tragedy
and PM Today
at Vino's over the weekend. He fills us in on the crazy antics of rocker kids today:
About 30 minutes into After the Tragedy's set the lead singer, Joel, got a bit overwrought and decided to climb a pole and dangle from the rafters in mid-song. I guess it was the spontaneous, rock & roll thing to do. Problem is, he lost his grip, or let go, or whatever. His encounter with terra firma was ugly — dude broke his leg badly. That was the end of the set.
In the sage words of Kelley Bass, “Gravity isn’t just a good idea; it’s the law.”
