G-strings and more with Matt Floyd’s grizzled face on em.

Matt Floyd has some fines he has to pay before Smoke Up Johnny head off with the Moving Front on tour in March. Apparently, these are fines beyond the means of an average man. Tonight, Thick Syrup Records (who released SUJ’s debut album) hosts a benefit for Floyd at Sticky Fingerz, 9:30 p.m., $4.  The Chicklettes (cousins of the much-beloved Ace Spade and the Whores of Babylon), the Weisenheimers and Kyoto Boom, who’ll perform again at round four of the Showcase on Thursday, all are down for the cause.
