So what is/was for dinner?

Always curious what those in the Times blogosphere chose for their evening meal, especially on an otherwise uneventful "school" night (or "work" night, I guess). With an afterwork meeting of a non-profit board we're on, time was tight, so we threw off some whole-wheat penne in some boiling water (tossing it later with a bit of butter and grated parmesan), reheated two well-herbed grilled boneless/skinless chicken breasts (sliced thin on the bias)and asparagus from last night, tossed some romaine with a homemade vinaigrette we keep in a jar on the kitchen windowsill (white wine vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon juice) and toasted up a couple of crumpets (Farm Country -- 60 cals apiece, find them by the cheese at Kroger in the Heights). Nice semi-healthy meal: 9 minutes from the moment the pasta water boiled.
