No, not that Buffalo.  We’re talking about the fish.  Carpenter’s Produce at the Corner of Martin Luther King and Wright Avenue fries up some fine Buffalo Fish Ribs abd Catfish Fillets.  Having never eaten Buffalo Fish that I could recall, I was all in.

 

Small dinner = $6.50 and the large is $9.75.   All dinners are served with fries, slaw or baked beans.

Here’s the Buffalo Fish Ribs- Very unique and delicious.  Highly recommended.

Here’s the Catfish- They cook it right.  Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

This is the same family from Grady, Arkansas that sets up in the River Market.  They sell their produce at this stand the rest of the time.  Currently, there’s some produce here but not a whole lot.  They expect a good bit more in the coming days, however.  The scuttlebutt is that they’re thinking about selling this place, so get down here and get yours before its too late.
