FINALLY. After a year of anticipation, it's starting. Tonight's the first night of Towncraft Week
: five nights with five shows at five venues with 17 local bands playing to celebrate the release of the "Towncraft" documentary on the local underground music scene of the late-’80s and early-’90s.
On the bill tonight at White Water:
Subversive garage rockers The Bloodless Cooties
kick out deranged, obscure 60s-jams.
There are few local singer/songwriters to rival Kevin Kerby
, the erstwhile lead singer of Mulehead.
And maybe the most electric band in town, The Moving Front
, headlines AND celebrates the release of its fine, fine new S/T new album.
Starts a little earlier than usual at 9 pm. $5.
