I gotta be in two places as once Friday night (actually, I’ve had the feeling all day). I wanna see Miranda Lambert as the headliner for Toad Suck Daze in Conway tonight (it continues tomorrow night with the Guess Who and lots more). But there’s also the Max Recordings 5th Anniversary party at Sticky Fingerz tonight as well, with Kevin Kerby and American Princes on the bill. We’re figuring that will go late, and it starts about the time Miranda Lambert goes on stage at Conway, right after Jason Aldean, who has this huge country hit out as well. Toad Suck Daze is free; seems like if the weather is nice, Oak Street in Conway could be a major scene of folks.

Also at Toad Suck, they’ve got an acoustic stage along with the main stage entertainment. Little Rock’s Sara Thomas will have a band (including the Times’ own Roland Gladden on bass) starting at 9:15 p.m. Tomorrow night, Musicians Showcase winner Hannah Blaylock and Eden’s Edge headlines the acoustic stage. They’re great, in case you didn’t already know.

So, there’s plenty to do. Also, if you haven’t caught “Intimate Apparel” at the Rep, it will be wrapping up its run on Sunday night. Tonight’s showtime is 8 p.m.
