Food Feedback Friday: chips, cheesesteak, and Chuy's

Welcome back to the greatest resource for good eats in the known universe, Food Feedback Friday. Why so great? Because these recommendations come from you. You can brush aside our musings and moaning on what we’ve been eating and give us your opinions on what we’ve gotten right and what we’ve done wrong. This is your forum, we just live in it.

Last week, on (a rather tardy) FFF, Mother Earth had the Baja fish tacos with grilled Mahi Mahi at the Red Door and was very pleased with her selection. Raven “finally” made it to E’s Bistro in NLR and was mostly pleased with his cheesesteak, but felt his bill was a little steep. Kevin made another trip to AW Lin’s which “yielded another excellent meal. I especially enjoyed my fried vegetable spring roll appetizer, as well as the lo mein.” The Goof family ate well, with a week that included burgers from Big Orange, tenderloin from Terry’s, and takeout from Chuy’s—apparently they enjoyed every bit. Big Fun also had many wonderful things to share about the new Big Orange. He says, “The classic daiquiri (nothing but rum, lime juice and simple syrup, served on the rocks) and Tom Collins (with egg white!) were mighty tasty. We had to get the bucket of chips (we always do) and then split the classic burger, as good as it gets in our book.” Sammy is on board with Geek Eats (as am I) and thoroughly enjoyed his jalapeno cheddar hummus.
