July is such a wonderful month…so many exciting birthdays! Of course, the birth of our nation. And it just so happens that both Michael and I will be celebrating birthdays this next week. Of course, that means lots of grand eating. We’ll be feasting at Tokyo House, Cajun’s Wharf, Vino’s, HAM, and The Packet House this coming week, just to name a few.

Kar went to Trio’s and found that the “crepes were divine – chicken, jack, peppers with a bright pico and not too heavy. Their coffee is always fantastic.” Good ole’ Shalin (who is also celebrating a birthday this month), “had a fantastic meal at Flying Fish…all our seafood was excellent but I was most impressed with their beans and rice.” WLRBelle had a wonderful meal at Rosalinda’s in NLR stating, “Now I’m stuck on the Pupusas plate that comes with rice and beans!” Our friend Raven “made our maiden voyage to Chuy’s and was pleasantly surprised. Good service, tasty beef burrito, and really good chips & salsa & creamy jalapeño dip.” Slow Yeti went to E’s Bistro in NLR and tells us the “fish tacos were also awesome. He also really loved the black beans, even the onion component, something he normally dislikes.”

You can read all about it here. So, what do you got for us this week?
