Who has the best egg nog in town? We’ll find out tomorrow night at the Historic Arkansas Museum.

Come out and sample the best of what some of the best chefs in the state have to offer at the 7th Ever Nog-Off. You can see if knowing a bit about distillation will make Rocktown Distillery’s Phil Brandon’s nog better than, say, that from the fabulous Copper Grill’s Mary Beth Ringold — or find out if Capital Bar & Grill’s David Burnette’s recipe is any better than the Kentucky recipe Bridget Farris will throw into the mix. Will it be the OMnoG from Argenta Arts Foundation’s Drue Patton or the entry from Tracy Sterling of JAVA Roasting Express?

Two awards will be given — one a People’s Choice voted on by everyone who attends and one determined by the two celebrity judges, Broadway star Lawrence Hamilton and southern food blogger Rex Nelson… and, well, me too.

It’s all free, 5-8 p.m. at the Historic Arkansas Museum, part of 2nd Friday Art Night downtown. More information here.
