Cody Wilson,
the Little Rock native who burst into national prominence by his plans for printing plastic guns, has been arrested for sexual assault in Texas. Reports Vice News:

According to charging documents, Cody Wilson, 30, paid a girl under 17 years old $500 for sex at a hotel room in Austin, Texas, in August. Sexual assault of a minor is a second-degree felony in Texas.

Austin police say they were alerted by a counselor who had been working with the victim. Detectives with Austin’s Child Abuse division then scheduled an interview at the forensic division of the Center for Child Protection.

Wilson allegedly met the victim on SugarDaddyMeet, a dating platform that matches older men with younger women.

Wilson did not respond to a VICE News request for comment.

As local news station KVUE notes, Wilson allegedly used the name “Sanjuro” on SugarDaddyMeet.com and told the child victim that he was a “big deal,” according to court documents. The girl allegedly met Wilson at Bennu Coffee on 515 South Congress Ave. in Austin where he arrived in a black Ford SUV that matched a license plate registered under his firearms business, Defense Distributed. The police apparently have video of the meeting.

Wilson intended to post instructions online for using 3D printers to make plastic guns, but a lawsuit deterred his plans.
