The European Union says peanut butter is on the list of products that could be subject to retaliatory tariffs if a trade war breaks out over Trump’s metal duties. No final decision has been made.

Two things about that:

1) Skippy peanut butter is made at a plant in the Little Rock Port industrial park. 90 million jars a year. Also: some 3,000 acres of peanuts are grown in Arkansas, according to a Farm Bureau video.

2) A lof of Europeans think peanut butter is weird and won’t eat it. But they are mad crazy about Nutella.

Also on the potential EU hit list: Cranberries, bourbon, Harley-Davidson motorcycles and Levi’s jeans.
