Simmons First National Bank will make a “multimillion-dollar gift” to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff for its football and sports facilities, the bank and UAPB announced today.

The gift will be the largest in the university’s history. The UA System Board of Trustees is expected to OK the gift at its meeting May 23-24.

Alexander; UAPB interim director of athletics Alyse Wells-Kilbert; Simmons CEO and chairman George A. Good news for UAPB and for Pine Bluff as a whole.
