City of Little Rock will discuss potential infrastructure projects at Ward meetings

The city of Little Rock will host a series of public meetings in each of the city's seven wards over the coming weeks to gather input about proposed infrastructure projects, the city announced in a press release.

Funding for the projects comes from the 3/8 cent sales tax and the Capital Improvement Bonds, approved by Little Rock voters in 2011 and 2012, respectively.

The Public Works Department has reviewed public suggestions and estimated costs for the latest round of projects, to be set for the 2019 to 2021 cycle. "After this review, projects have been identified for each ward that can be completed within the necessary timeframe and the available funds," the city stated in its press release. After being presented at the public meetings, the projects must receive final approval from the City Board of Directors.
