Gun threats in schools: How to respond

KARK's Greg Yarbrough picked up a Little Rock police report on the arrest of a middle school student for making a shooting threat at Forest Heights STEM Academy. It's maybe the 15th threat incident in an Arkansas school since the Florida massacre.

Certainly, all were not serious threats. But how do you decide? I thought the report, with its references to access to guns and the sorts of things that can stir adolescents emotionally, says a lot about the difficulties faced by authorities in our heavily armed nation.

UPDATE: Make it 16. North Little Rock police made an arrest today related to a threat reported at First Pentecostal Academy, KARK reports.
