Eddie Baker, a firefighter in Norfork, paid $20 Friday for an Arkansas Millions instant lottery ticket that was a $1 million winner — good for a payout of about $675,000 after tax deductions. (The original news release said incorrectly that it was a $10 ticket.)

Baker won $500 the day before on a ticket he bought in Calico Rock and then won $500 more on Saturday, again in Calico Rock. He bought his big Friday winner at the White Oak Station in Mountain Home — along with a $50 winner.

Baker says he intends to buy a car for his wife, Crystal, a special ed teacher, and spread some of it to their seven children. He gave his $50 win Friday to the clerk in the station.
