More than 75 members of the clergy from across the state will hold a press conference tomorrow to release a "Statement of Unity," expressing concern over the Trump administration's rescinding of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
and — in the midst of a global refugee crisis — lowering the number of refugees to the lowest levels since the Refugee Act of 1980.
The event will take place at 10 a.m. in the Old Supreme Court Room at the State Capitol. A corresponding press conference will be held on the same day at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fayetteville.
