State tax revenues in September fell slightly
short of forecast.

Gross revenue in September was $586.9 million, 1.4 percent more than the same month last year, but .5 percent below forecast.

Gross revenue for the year, July 1 through September, is however, 3.9 percent above the same period last year and .5 percent above forecast.
