Two Fayetteville residents, Kelly Buckley and Anthony Shepard,
are sharing $1 million
from a ticket they bought for the Sept. 16 Powerball
drawing. They had five correct numbers, but not the Powerball number.
A lottery news release said Buckley, a teacher, would put her money in a college trust fund. Shepard said he'd continue in his job laying concrete. After taxes, they split about $670,000.
They their ticket at Tobo's 66 on Wilston Street in Fayetteville. It was the 58th million-dollar ticket sold in Arkansas since lottery sales began.
