Garland Co. Sheriff's Office
A former administrative assistant
in the Garland County Judge's office who used a county credit card to buy, among other things, a tuxedo for her Pug,
plead guilty yesterday to six felony counts of fraudulent use of a credit card.
Kristi Lyn Goss, 44,
who had been with Garland County since 2004, was arrested last October. The fraudulent charges were discovered in May 2016. Goss was scheduled to stand trial Tuesday,
but accepted an as-of-yet undisclosed plea agreement. She is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 22.
In addition to dog evening wear, the criminal information filed in Garland Circuit Court
alleged she also used the county credit card to pay for personal utility bills, Razorback football tickets, kids' school lunches, jewelry, car payments, property taxes, a sequin throw pillow and pet insurance. The charges amounted to $162,598.
The Democrat-Gazette has more details on Monday's plea.
Goss is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 22.
