DECLARING VICTORY: A big crowd "declared victory" this morning with a march against violence, but violence continued elsewhere in the city.

Here’s the open line. But let’s talk violence. Such as:

* The KARK/Fox 16-led campaign against violence, which culminated with a well-attended march that ended at a city community center on 12th Street today.

* A robbery of a store in the 4900 block of W. 12th about 11:30 a.m., within a mile of  the march as it was wrapping up.

* The critical wounding of a 29-year-old man who’d left Club Level in the 300 block of Main Street about 2 a.m. this morning. His identity hasn’t been released. A suspect driving a red Mercedes is being sought. Events apparently stemmed from an accident in a parking lot.
