The U.S. Senate
seems likely to vote Tuesday on a secret health bill.
Whatever version is rolled out — and if Sen. John McCain's
doctor approves a fly-in so he may vote — the outcome is the same. Bad for working poor and previously sick; good for rich people.
Any semblance of representative democracy in this is purely unintentional. Call Sen. Tom Cotton
and Sen. John Boozman
and demand some accountability. They will go along with the party, but they ought to be explaining why now, not later.
I forgot to mention House Republicans have a plan to pillage
the Congressional Budget Office. Inconvenient facts are not in favor these days, even though blind faith guides all too many voters in Congress and the national electorate.
