The U.S. attorney’s office in Little Rock announced today the arrest of William Thomas Murry, 60, former owner of the Kawasaki Sports Center on University Avenue, on charges of possession and receipt of child pornography.
A press release from Acting U.S. Attorney Patrick C. Harris said Murry, of Sherwood, was indicted July 6 on one count of possession of child pornography and four counts of receipt of child pornography, by participating in 2015 and 2016 in an online chatroom that featured videos, pictures and “live child rapes.” Agents tracked the IP address of the chatroom participant to the sports center address, 5922 S. University.
Agents found 65 still images and two video files of child pornography on Murry’s computer, the U.S. attorney news release said.
