the Dallas Cowboy running back, was prompted to post a message on Twitter yesterday because of reporting on the presence of three of his relatives, including a 16-year-old nephew, at the mass shooting early Saturday at the Power Ultra Lounge
in downtown Little Rock.
McFadden's post on Twitter:
KARK showed a video of McFadden at the scene. The occasion also prompted media accounts of the presence of McFadden relatives at several recent shootings in Little Rock. KARK's Marci Manley details those events here.
McFadden's mother, in confirming the involvement of family in the latest shooting, said she just wants the violence to end.
Twenty-five people were wounded at the lounge, none fatally. The circumstances remain unclear and no arrests have been made, though the rapper performing that night, Ricky Hampton ('Finese 2Tymes'), was named in a federal complaint filed Monday
as being a felon in possession of a firearm in a recent shooting at a Forrest City club.
