State Police report that a woman driving on Interstate 30 was wounded by gunfire from a passing car near Interstate 630 Tuesday night.

Arkansas State Troopers are continuing their work from overnight (Tuesday, June 27, 2017) in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in the area of Interstate 30 and the I-630 interchange.
At approximately 7 PM Tiara Mitchell, 27, of Little Rock, was traveling eastbound along I-30 when multiple gunshots were fired into the vehicle she was driving. Mitchell was wounded but able to get off the highway in North Little Rock where she was contacted by state troopers.
The gunfire reportedly came from a passing vehicle believed to be a white Toyota Corolla or Camry.
Mitchell was transported to an area hospital and underwent surgery overnight. The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Special Agents of the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division have worked with Little Rock Police Officers overnight in an attempt to identify and locate possible suspects tied to the shooting.
