His own Facebook page describes Joshua Mahony
as a nonprofit executive "focused on affordable education for sustainable income, women and minority empowerment."
Those are not exactly focuses of the current congressman in the 3rd District
, Republican Rep. Steve Womack.
From the web: Born in El Dorado and a Fayetteville resident for 17 years, Mahony's nonprofit activities including serving as Board chair of the Ozark Literacy Council and president of the Arkansas Single Family Scholarship Fund. He has a family business, EAM, dedicated to natural resource management and ran unsuccessfully for the Democratic nomination for Washington County judge in 2016. He's a pilot and has been chairman of the Fayetteville Airport Commission. Twitter page gives you a flavor of his solidly Democratic politics.
