Attorney General Rutledge continues her out-of-state litigation spree

Add another out-of-state case to Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge's busy national litigation agenda with other Republican state legal officers. Guns, of course.

She's joining other states in arguing to the U.S. Supreme Court that a San Diego restriction on guns is unconstitutional. According to a Rutledge news release:

A California statute largely prohibits open carry, but it allows sheriffs to issue rare permits for “good cause.” The “good cause” policy prevents ordinary citizens from obtaining a license to carry. Five individuals from San Diego County and the California Rifle and Pistol Association Foundation brought the original lawsuit against the sheriff, claiming his restrictive interpretation of “good cause” infringed their Second Amendment rights.
