A secretary who sometimes acted as a substitute teacher at Arkansas Christian Academy in Bryant has been arrested, accused of allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old student

Amanda Knight, 38, of Alexander was booked into the Saline County Detention Center yesterday around 8 a.m., and has been charged with first degree sexual assault. KTHV reports Knight voluntarily turned herself in at the Benton Police Department.

The inmate roster at the Saline County jail shows her as still being held there on a $10,000 bond.  A court date has been set for Sept. 20.
