Donald Trump has inserted himself in the Republican National Convention lineup tonight so he'll likely step on coverage of the rest.
Gov. Asa Hutchinson gave a workmanlike, substantive speech with an emphasis on national security and federalism, including Arkansas's happy use of Obamacare money. He didn't mention specifically his reliance on that money naturally. He did fully endorse Donald Trump, unlike noncommittal Tom Cotton last night.
Attorney General Leslie Rutledge broadened her accent, slashed the Clintons and generally overcooked most of her remarks for a mildly interested crowd. She's a Christian, pro-life, gun-toting woman, she shouted. And so little else.
