A report released yesterday in Great Britain blistered Tony Blair
for his 2003 decision as prime minister to go to war in Iraq based on what we all now know was bad U.S. intelligence. Blair responded to the report in a two-hour news conference
As luck has it, Blair is scheduled to be in Little Rock next week
to speak in the by-invitation Kumpuris Lecture Series held in conjunction with the Clinton Presidential Center.
Former President George W. Bush
, who led the U.S. into the war, has until now been silent on the British report.
