UALR Chancellor Joel Anderson
has named John Burgess
to succeed Mary Good in a seat on the Little Rock Technology Authority Board.
Burgess, a UALR graduate in computer science, is president and co-founder of Mainstream Technologies in Little Rock. He serves on the board of advisers for the International Association of Cloud and Managed Service Providers and has also been chair of the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce and a director of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Good, an emeritus dean at UALR, was one of the charter members of the Board of the Tech Park, which hopes to encourage tech businesses by using city tax money to buy downtown buildings to outfit for such businesses.
