On a day when good news is needed, I have some: An Indian food stall, the Indian Feast,
is nearing its opening date in the River Market.
Samples passed out today of spicy chicken curry and chicken korma did not disappoint. An oven to bake naan was firing up in the corner. A city inspection is all that stands in the way of opening.
This is very good news to me. Also good news is the word from the operator, Yogi Asudani, a native of Delhi, that an upscale sit-down Indian restaurant is also planned for a location on Chenal Parkway in perhaps four months.
I don't know about you, but a bite of curry gets my endorphins hopping.
