Capi has lived in Ward 4 and owned her restaurant Trio’s for the past 30 plus years. She is the fourth generation in her family to have worked in the hospitality industry in Little Rock. Trio’s is the only remaining original tenant in Pavilion in the Park and has won countless awards as an independent restaurant.Brad Cavort currently holds the seat. He hasn't announced whether he plans to seek re-election. Ward 4 is only the ward seat on the ballot this year. At-large seats held by Joan Adcock, Dean Kumpuris and Gene Fortson are on the ballot. Molly Miller has announced to oppose Adcock. Clayton Johnson has said he'll run for an at-large set yet to be determined.
Capi has a life-long passion and commitment to her hometown. She is a Hall High School alumna and association member. For decades, she has given back to her community through charitable and community events including Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance, Our House, Thea Foundation and the Ronald McDonald House.
Capi is a member of temple B’nai Israel where she formerly taught Sunday School. She is a former president of the Arkansas Restaurant Association and served on the Public Health Advisory Board for 8 years. She is a current member and former vice president of the Little Rock Advertising and Promotion Commission and member of the Central Arkansas Executives Association.
Capi believes in Little Rock’s future. She believes in the importance of continuing to invest in our community and improving public safety. She supports economic growth projects and believes building a vibrant downtown area will improve the quality of life for all of our city’s citizens
