The Arkansas Arts Center has announced a famous visitor — Pierre-Auguste Renoir's painting of a French actress, "Madame Henriot in Costume."

The Impressionist work will be on display from May 24-Sept. 11, on exchange from the Columbus Museum of Art. The Arkansas Arts Center will loan Diego Rivera's "Dos Mujeres," to the museum in Columbus.

“The Arkansas Arts Center regularly loans works from its collection to special exhibitions organized by arts institutions around the world,” said Todd Herman, executive director, Arkansas Arts Center. “Being part of a network willing to share its treasured collections is of great value to the Arts Center and to the general public. Loaning our works helps us grow our reputation as a top-tier American art institution, and it allows us the opportunity to fulfill our mission to offer a rich variety of art from other collections for the cultural benefit of all Arkansans.”
