Today is the deadline to register to vote for the March 1 primaries

If you'd like to participate in the primaries on March 1 and you haven't registered to vote, today is the deadline. You can register to vote at your local county clerk’s office, library, or public assistance office.

Arkansas Secretary of State Mark Martin is asking Arkansans to make note of some important upcoming dates this election season.

The Preferential Primary and Nonpartisan General Election have been moved this year to March 1st. Polls will be open from 7:30 am until 7:30 pm.

Early voting begins on February 16th. Please check with your county clerk to confirm early voting times and locations.

If you wish to vote in the Primary on March 1st, you must be registered to vote by Monday, February 1st. You can register to vote at your local county clerk’s office, library, public assistance office, or you may print a form at www.sos.arkansas.gov/elections and mail it to the Secretary of State’s Office.
