Rock Candy got there first with news that Robert Hupp is leaving the Arkansas Repertory Theatre as artistic director a theater job in Syracuse.

I, for one, am sorry to hear the news. The Rep remains a quality standout in Little Rock’s attractions and Hupp gets plenty of credits. His series of programs delving into the background of each Rep production have added great value. He’ll leave in June after 17 years of growth of the organization.
