Dassault Falcon Jet today had a ceremony to celebrate a 350,000-square-foot expansion to its aircraft completion center at the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport.

The $60 million project, encouraged bya variety of public incentives, includes a 250,000 square-foot hangar where two new models will be completed — the Falcon 8X ultra long range trijet and the Falcon 5X large body twin.

The facility now has 1.25 million square feet and employs 1,850 people. The operation dates back 40 years, when Falcon Jet bought Little Rock Airmotive, and is now the largest plant Dassault operates.

In other Clinton Airport news today:

Allegiant Air will resume its seasonal nonstop service to Los Angeles International Airport on June 8. It will fly twice weekly to LAX. Allegiant also flies nonstop to Orlando.
