The 2015 Little Rock Pride Fest is being held on National Coming Out Day during LGBT History Month. This event will give LGBT Arkansans the opportunity to celebrate who they are and feel accepted, as well as the opportunity to see the many organizations, businesses, civic and religious leaders, and community who are committed to equality. Pride parades have happened all over the country since the Stonewall Riots in 1969. The Little Rock Pride Fest is about celebrating the accomplishments that have been set into motion since Stonewall, creating a stronger community, and honoring the accomplishments of local people who work hard everyday for equality in Arkansas. This year many LGBT people have many reasons to celebrate, including the U.S. Supreme Court marriage decision on June 27th and the hours several people put in during HB1228.
