From the Los Angeles Times,
another example of the Walton billions
and other wealthy people put to work to damage those with whom they disagree.
It's about a California lawsuit
aimed at crippling political activity by unions
— teachers groups in this case. Walton money is bankrolling the effort.
The lawsuit is pitched — dishonestly the Times columnist shows — as protection of free speech for union members. It's the sort of 1st Amendment protection Kim Davis favors. That is, you can say or do whatever you wish as long as I approve of it.
When the Waltons complete the privatization of public schools through unaccountable charter management organizations there will, of course, be no teacher unions.
