I mentioned yesterday that workers were digging in the 200 block of new sidewalk on Main Street preparing to install new street lights. I finally today got answers to questions about the work. It seems the project in this block was already done when Mayor Mark Stodola decided it should have the same street lights as those installed in the 100 block of Main.

So it's being done, on both sides of the 200 block of Main, at an added cost of $80,000. It comes from $1.99 million bond issue money allocated for this project. I've asked the amount spent before and after the reworking.
