Mike Huckabee announced for president May 5 and, under federal rules, was required to file a personal financial disclosure statement within 30 days. He's twice asked for and received an extension, the most recent giving July 31 as the deadline. So far today, no report is on file.

Unless Fox News changes its rules, Huckabee will not be able to participate in the first televised Republican debate Aug. 6 unless he files the report. Fox told the Washington Post that this rule was hard and fast and understood by all candidates.

In other Huckabee developments, a Super PAC formed to support Huckabee, Pursuing America's Greatness, filed a report of $3.6 million in contributions, with $3 million of that from Mountair Poultry CEO Ronald Cameron of Little Rock. Cameron is a regular at Koch Bros. "put" sessions to raise money for Republican causes. The Huck cause also got $500,000 worth of support from Sharon Herschend of Herschend Family Entertainment in Branson, owner of Silver Dollar City and other amusement parks.

The Super PAC hasn't spent much yet, but disbursements include payments for a video.

UPDATE: A dozen candidates are ahead of Huckabee in the money race.
