Little Rock records 17th homicide UPDATE

Little Rock police report a homicide about 9 p.m. last night on 17th Street, between Cedar and Elm. No other details available at the moment. It was the 17th homicide of the year.

Odd: When I went to work for the Arkansas Times in 1991, one of the potential articles I put on a list for future development was this: "17th and Cedar, most dangerous corner in Little Rock." We never did that story. But 24 years later, it's still perilous out there.

UPDATE: Later in the day, this wanted poster was circulated. Mark Mosley, 20, was found lying on the ground and witnesses said a heated argument between a man in a vehicle and Mosley preceded the shooting.

UPDATE II: Gay was arrested Monday without incident.
