MORGAN NICK: This photo was developed to show how Morgan Nick might have looked at 18.
A series of activities are planned on the 20th anniversary of the disappearance of Morgan Nick
in hopes of encouraging renewed efforts to solve the case.
Nick, then 6, was reported abducted from a children's ballgame in Alma June 9, 1995.
Her disappearance spurred the creation of the Morgan Nick Alert system for speedy word when children are missing, but leads about her have produced no suspects or indication of what happened to her.
Nick's mother Colleen, Gov. Asa Hutchinson and others will have a news conference June 5 about the effort to solve the mystery. Billboards will carry a "new age progressed photo" of Nick with a phone number for calling the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The Capitol dome will be lit in pink during the month of June. Pink was her favorite color.
